Catfish Response 3
This whole movie was creepy and weird! I can't believe that Angela would make all that stuff up. Why would you want to waste your time doing that when you have many other things to do? I felt bad for Nev because he was excited to meet Megan and then he gets there and find out it was really Angela pretending to be Megan... I don't even know what to say about that. Saying that you have cancer and you really don't is really low. I don't understand why Angela or anybody would lie about that... I don't know what else to say about this movie. I just thought that it was very creepy and very weird. Also, I wonder why Angela would take so much time out of her busy life to make up this whole lie and keep on going with it for that long...

Catfish Response 2
I still thought that the movie is creepy and weird. She ended up being all the people and basically lied about everything. This movie is kind of messed up. So Nev has had a Facebook affair with Angela for about 9 months. I think she lied about all of it because she wanted to get a lot of attention and wanted to be in the center of it all. At the end she will probably tell Nev the whole story behind it and tell him why she made all of it up in the first place. If I was in Nev's situation I would be creeped out by Angela because she made everything up and has had a relationship with Nev for 9 months and pretending to be her daughter, Megan. You can learn a lot of lessons from this movie about meeting someone online.

Catfish Response
My first reaction to this movie was that it's creepy. I am kind of interested to see what happens in the end of the movie. I think that it is only one person that has a voice changer to pretend like they're someone else. I found it a little weird that an older guy is talking to an 8 year old girl who he doesn't even know. I also thought it was weird that the mom just let her daughter send a painting of a picture and keeps on doing that. If everyone is real in this movie, why did Megan send Nev songs that she said she recorded but it's someone else singing. I don't really know what else to think about this movie other than it's weird and creepy.

Position Paper
Mobile Technology has made many changes in our society. Many people have chosen to send a quick text to a friend instead of calling them. A lot of people have started to use cell phones instead of using a landline. Over the years the cell phone has become higher tech. The creation of smart phones is on the rise
A smart phone is a mobile phone that offers more advances computing ability and connectivity than a contemporary basic feature phone. A smart phone can be considered a personal pocket computer with mobile phone functions because the smart phones are mainly computers, but a lot smaller and more personal. According to a study from ComScore, over 25.5 million people in the United States owned a smart phone in 2010. It is the fastest growing segment of the mobile phone market.
More people have email on their phone as well. Some people don’t even have laptops anymore because they have everything on their smart phones. Once someone sends them an email, it goes straight to the phone and they can easily respond immediately. A lot of people prefer to have it sent to their phone instead of having it sent to their laptop or home computer because it’s more efficient for them to be contacted. Many business people chose this because if they’re traveling it’s easier for them to take their phone with them than take their laptop.
People love their smart phones so much that they text and drive. In 2006, Liberty Mutual Insurance Group conducted a survey with more than 900 teens from over 26 high schools nationwide. About 37% of students who took that survey thought that texting can be “very” or “extremely” distracting. A study by the AAA discovered that 46% of teens admitted to being distracted behind the wheel due to texting. About 28% of traffic accidents occur when people are talking on the phone or sending a text message while driving. More than 120 studies of cell phone use suggest that using hands-free devices doesn’t eliminate the distraction caused by a phone conversation. There are more teens than adults that text and drive. This results in having more car accidents involving teens and less involving adults.
Mobile technology has made a big impact on our society. Many lives are changing because of it. The invention of new phones called smart phones have internet, email, GPS, and many other things that the “normal” cell phone wouldn’t have. Texting and driving has been an issue in our society, also. There have been more accidents especially involving teens and texting while driving. The percentage has gone up for the amount of accidents that have occurred from texting while driving. Mobile technology has impacted our society and will continue to have an impact in the future.

Blog Free Writing
I think it is ridiculous how people get fired for what they post on their blog. Yes, they should be careful about what they say online because some people can find out if you say something hurtful towards them. On the other hand, I don't think that they should get fired because they posted something on their blog. It's their personal life on their blog and if they get fired I feel like it's being judgemental towards that person because of what they posted on their blog. I think it's kind of interesting how some people blog for a living. I would get bored and lazy to post a blog almost everyday about what you're going to do on that day. I would also feel violated because people would know personal stuff about my life that isn't necessary for them to know. I've always wondered why people like to blog in the first place. It's really boring, and I don't really think people care about what you're doing that day. But on the other hand Facebook is a blog, and I'm always on Facebook. My friends and I are very addicted to Facebook, so I can see if people blog once they get addicted to it and then they always do it.
